Neumann University Athletics

Kaitlin Thomas, of the women's soccer team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week. 

Thomas, who was also named the Atlantic East Offensive Player of the Week, netted three goals in a season opening 3-0 win over Cairn, helping the Knights redeem a tight one-goal loss from last season. All three goals in her first hat trick of the season went unassisted. The sophomore finished the weekend with seven shots, five on goal, as the Knights opened the season 2-0.
