Neumann University Athletics

Melanie Malseed, of the women's volleyball team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week. 

In a 2-1 overall week, 1-0 in conference play, Malseed tallied 61 kills and 39 digs and was named the Atlantic East Player of the Week. The senior reached at least 20 kills in two of the matches (20 in a 3-1 win over Cabrini and 23 in a 3-2 loss to Stockton), while hitting .299 through the three matches. She had three double-doubles and eight blocks to go along with her well-rounded statistical line.
