Neumann University Athletics

Jalen Vaughns, of the men's basketball team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week. 

Vaughns averaged 27.0 points in a 2-0 week for Neumann and was named the Atlantic East Player of the Week. The sophomore shot 80% (24-for-30) in the two contests. In a 94-71 win over Bryn Athyn, Vaughns scored 24 points and grabbed eight rebounds. In the 93-57 win at Penn State Lehigh, he netted 30 points.
 
For the season, Vaughns is averaging a team-high 21.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. He has tallied two double-doubles as the Knights are 5-2 so far this season.
 
Neumann is now off until December 7 when it travels to Washington (Md.). Tip-off is slated for 7:00 PM.
