Brett McLaughlin, of the men's lacrosse team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week. 

McLaughlin was named the Atlantic East Defensive Player of the Week and was a key contributor on both ends of the field for the Knights in their two wins this week. In Tuesday's 11-7 victory over Delaware Valley, the senior picked up two goals and an assist while also scooping up eight ground balls and causing three turnovers. In Sunday's 16-7 win over Wilkes, the defender notched a goal and two assists to go along with nine ground balls and five caused turnovers. The senior also moved over the 100 caused turnovers mark in his career in Sunday's win.
