Neumann University Athletics

Jalen Vaughns, of the men's basketball team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week, for the second straight week. 

Vaughns led Neumann to a 3-0 week by averaging 27.0 points and 9.7 rebounds. In an 86-64 win over Rosemont to start the week, the junior netted 25 points in 25 minutes. Vaughns followed with 34 points and 11 assists in 28 minutes in an 89-64 win over Washington College. To wrap up the week, Vaughns scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a 76-68 win at Susquehanna. The junior finished the week shooting a staggering 75 percent from the field.

This is the fifth straight week that has been named either the Offensive of Defensive Player of the Week. Vaughns is ranked in the top 10 in DIII scoring for far this season and is No. 7 with 24.9 points per game. The junior was also named the Philadelphia Small College Basketball Association (PSCBA) Player of the Week.
