Lauren Klieber, of the women's basketball team, is thsi week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week.
Klieber, who was also named the Atlantic East Player of the Week, averaged 22.7 points and 8.3 rebounds as Neumann opened the season 3-0. In two of the three games, the junior scored 27 points. In a 69-49 season opening win against Lancaster Bible, Klieber hit three three-pointers en route to 27 points while grabbing eight rebounds. Against Penn State Harrisburg, she scored 14 points and pulled down eight rebounds in a 75-51 win. To wrap up the week, the junior scored 27 points and notched nine rebounds in a 64-56 win over Lancaster Bible.
