Ryan Dreger, of the Neumann University men’s ice hockey team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week.

The freshman was also named the ECAC West Rookie of the Week.

Dreger notched his first collegiate goal against Utica over the weekend. The freshman scored his goal with 2:08 left in regulation to break a 4-4 tie and the Knights went on to win 5-4. Dreger notched an assist earlier in the game. The next night, he dished out two assists as Neumann defeated then No. 5 Manhattanville 5-1.
