Neumann University Athletics

Shannon Donnelly, of the womens' ice hockey team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week.

Donnelly was also named the ECAC West Goalie of the Week.

Donnelly picked up two shutouts this weekend, allowing just two goals. In the first game this week, the sophomore made 34 saves in a 2-2 tie against Manhattanville. Over the weekend, she made 21 saves in a 5-0 win at Nichols. She then made 38 saves in a 5-0 win at Connecticut College.

 

On the season, the sophomore is 6-2-1 overall with a 1.83 goals-against-average.
