Russ Gilliam, of the baseball team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week.

The sophomore went 2-0 last week in two starts. In 6.2 innings in a non-conference game against Misericordia University, Gilliam stuck out eight while allowing just one unearned run in a 4-1 win.

On Sunday, Gilliam allowed two hits in 7.0 innings of work in a 10-0 win against conference foe Marywood University. The sophomore struck out nine in the outing.
