Mark Blount, of the men’s basketball team, is this week's Neumann University Athlete of the Week. 

Blount was also named to the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Honor Roll, for the week ending February 5.

In two Neumann wins, Blount averaged 17.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 4.0 blocks, while hitting on 80 percent (17-for-21). In Wednesday’s victory over Immaculata, he scored 17 points with 10 rebounds, while adding six blocks to set a new Neumann single-season mark (70). In Saturday’s 79-59 win over Philadelphia Biblical, Blount posted 18 points, six rebounds, and two blocks, going 8-for-10 from the field.

Neumann (11-11, 8-7 CSAC) hosts Cabrini on Saturday and then travels to Gwynedd-Mercy on Saturday.
