Jacki Herrington, of the softball team, is this week’s Neumann University Athlete of the Week.

Herrington was also named the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Hitter of the Week.

Herrington batted .650 (13-for-20) with two homers, one double, 11 RBIs, and seven runs scored over the Knights 5-1 week. She opened the week by going 3-for-4 with two homers (including a grand slam) and five RBIs in a tight loss to CSAC co-leader Centenary.

In Friday's doubleheader with Cabrini, the catcher went a combined 6-for-8 with two RBIs, before closing out the week by going 4-for-6 with four RBIs and three runs scored in a sweep of Rosemont on Saturday.
