Box Score

Despite scoring the first points of the night, Neumann was down six, five-minutes into the game. The Knights got on the board early behind a two-pointer by sophomore transfer James Swigget. Neumann then trailed as the Pacers took a six point lead midway through the first half.  After a 30-second time out called by Knights Head Coach Brian Nugent, Neumann, led by Captain Andre Wright, returned to the court scoring six consecutive points, raising the score to 14-13 Neumann. From there it was all Neumann as the offensive combination of Swigget, Wright, and Gregory Cunningham the extended Knights's lead to 38-26 going into intermission.

 

In the second half Neumann battled, scoring 35 more points as a team. When it was over Neumann's Andre Wright had recorded a double-double 12 points and 16 rebounds. Newcomer Ely Hitchens recorded 12 points with six coming from behind the arc, while freshman Gregory Cunningham contributed 11 on the night.

 

Neumann will return to action on Monday, November 28, 2005 when they will travel to Elizabethtown College for a 7:30 p.m. tip-off.
