The Neumann Knights men's basketball team downed the Wolverines of Wesley College 71-68 in a rescheduled Pennsylvania Athletic Conference match up in men's basketball action on Wednesday night.

 

Neumann was led by Andre Wright who scored a double-double 23 points, 11 rebounds. Wright was assisted by Mike Hitchens who went 6-11 from the field. Hitchens ended the night with a total of 16 points and 8 rebounds. The Knights and the Wolverines were locked at 33 going into the intermission. Neumann came out in the second half and made a number of defensive stops before getting four free throws in the last minute of the game from freshman Elisha Hannibal which gave the Knights a lead they would not relinquish.

 

With the win Neumann moves to 3-5 overall and 3-0 in the PAC. They will return to action on Thursday, December 8, when they will be hosted by Eastern University in Radnor, PA.
