Aston, PA- The Knights took an early lead scoring two goals in the first half. Michelle Coderre (Freehold, NJ/Manalapan) received a cross cage pass from Amanda Biagi (Bellmawr, NJ /Paul VI) to start the scoring with 30:24 on the clock. Neumann's Rachel Mease (Gibbstown, NJ/Paulsboro) found the back of the net next, off a penalty corner assisted by Brandy McCreary (West Chester, PA /West Chester Henderson) to end the half up two.
In the second half Neumann's Samantha Lafferty (Glenolden, PA/Interboro) was on fire, scoring all three of the Knights second half goals. Two of Lafferty's goals were unassisted with her second goal of the half assisted by sophomore Amanda Biagi (Bellmawr, NJ /Paul VI).
Cedar Crest's Andrea Morgan helped the Falcons avoid getting shut out as she flicked one pass freshman goalie Chelesa Ward, who had 10 saves on the day, in the 67 minute.
The Knights will return to action on Tuesday when they host King's College at 4:00 p.m.
