Aston, PA - Behind junior Jenna Halpin's double-double of ten kills and 17 digs, the Knights were able to make up a game one loss, in a thrilling 3-2 victory over McDaniel, in their home opener this evening.
Freshman Rachael Sokolovich made an immediate impact in Neumann's offense, as she tallied 12 kills and 12 digs for her first collegiate double-double. Also turning in a double-double performance was classmate Kristen Gregg. Gregg posted 31 assists and helped out defensively posting 21 digs.
Defensively freshman Julie Tarlowski patrolled the net, blocking a match high five of McDaniel's attempts. Sophomore Christina Walsh recorded 19 digs in this evening's win.
The Knights will travel to Haverford to take part in the Haverford Tournament this weekend. Neumann will have their first match on Saturday, September 3 with an opponent and time still to be announced.
