Cavaliers scores final points to overtake Neumann 3-2 in PAC contest

Aston, PA - The Neumann College Knights volleyball team suffered a gut-wrenching 3-2 loss at home vs. Cabrini College on Monday night in a crucial Pennsylvania Athletic Conference match inside Bruder Gymnasium.

The Knights overcame 1-0 and 2-1 deficits in games to forge a 2-2 deadlock entering game five. Cabrini then built a 6-0 lead in the final game, which the Knights were unable to counter falling to the Cavaliers 5-3.

The Cavaliers climb ahead of Neumann in the PAC Standings with a 3-0 league mark. The Knights are 0-2 in the PAC and 11-10 overall.

Kristen Gregg (Folsom, PA/Cardinal O'Hara) posted a team-high 42 assists, while Meghan Wilson (West Chester, PA (Bishop Shanahan) had a career high 48 total attacks in the 5-3 loss. Julia Tarloski (Malvern, PA/Bishop Shanahan) put down 21 kills and Sophomore Christina Walsh (Downingtown, PA/Bishop Shanahan) was second in digs tonight, just one shy of Gregg who led the Knights with 18.

Gregg was named to the PAC Player of the Week Honor Roll prior to the game for her outstanding performance in wins over Ursinus and Wilkes last week.
