Box Score

Allentown, PA - PAC Player of the Week nominee Kristen Gregg broke the Knight's game assists record in a 3-1 victory over conference rival Cedar Crest College.

Gregg (Folsom, PA/Cardinal O'Hara) broke the school record with 63 assists while leading the Neumann Knights to a come-from-behind 29-30, 33-31, 30-28, 30-28 victory against the Falcons at the Cedar Crest Gymnasium in Lees Hall.

The Knights (8-9) were riding the momentum going into the fourth game after holding off the Falcon's late rally in 33-31 second-game, and 30-28 third-game wins.

Gregg's 63 assists downs a Neumann College record set by Allison Hazewski (Bear, DE/St. Elizabeth's) in a three-two-game loss against Cedar Crest at home in 2004. In addition, Shannon Steffy (New Castle, DE/William Penn) and Rachele Dimichele (Bear, DE/St. Elizabeth's) each added two service aces and combined for seven digs to lead the Knights to the road victory.

Julia Tarloski (Malvern, PA/Bishop Shanahan) hit .299 with 21 kills, and Rachael Sokolovich (Eddystone, PA/Ridley) and Rachel Williams (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) added 19 and 9 kills, respectively for the Knights.

Neumann is set to travel to 25th ranked Eastern University on October 4, for a 7:00 p.m. conference match up.
