Aston, Pa. -Neumann College won and lost a match at Richard Stockton College this morning. The Knights end the regular season 19-13 and will look to enter the PAC playoffs on Tuesday.
The Knights opened the day against their host, Richard Stockton. The Ospreys pulled away with a 2-0 lead. Neumann managed to take game three but could not keep the Ospreys from taking game four, ending the match 3-1 in Richard Stockton's favor (15-30, 25-30, 30-20, and 25-30).
Meghan Wilson had 20 digs in the loss while Alyssa Brigg added 10. Kristen Gregg-Verone had 43 assist and 17 digs. Julia Tarloski hit for 14 kills and 4 block solos while Emilee Gruse added 11 kills and a block assist.
In the Knights second game of the day, Neumann battled DeSales to a 3-0 victory. Freshman middle hitter Emilee Gruse led the team with a .472 hitting percentage. Gruse also added 3 block solos and a block assist in the win.
Next up for the Knights: Neumann will host the #6 team in the PAC on Tuesday, November 1, at 7:00 p.m. in the first round of the PAC Championship Tournament.
