In a senior send off at the Neumann College Bruder Gymnasium, the Neumann Knights (10-14, 8-7, PAC) hosted the PAC top seeded Griffins of Gwynedd Mercy College (21-3, 14-0 PAC) in the Knights final home match up of the regular season.

Tri-captains Mary Kate Devine, Nellie Mixon, and Kirsten Patton were joined by fellow seniors Linsey Webb, and Michele Faraldo, in a pre game ceremony honoring all Knights seniors for their achievements over the last four seasons.
Neumann shot just 9-28 in the first half as the Griffins went on an 11 point run to open the first half and quickly extended their lead by 21 at the 10 minute mark. Neumann continued to put forth the effort, but the Griffins ability to capitalize off of the Knights' turnover total did not help to turn things in Neumann's favor. Senior Night star Nellie Mixon did manage to sink 4 of 10 for the Knights in what seemed to be an unsinkable first half, however, her efforts were not enough to cut in to Gwynedd Mercy's 48-21 first half lead.
The second half was a hard fought battle, and seniors Michele Faraldo, Nellie Mixon, Kirsten Patton, and Linsey Webb gave it a great last effort to end the last home regular season game of their college careers. Patton made it her job to go out in style, and drove to the basket seven times in the second half, scoring 15 points for the Knights and grabbing 13 rebounds. Mixon had a solid game, too, scoring 11 total points for the Knights. Gwynedd-Mercy's offense was too quick though, and took advantage of transitions, scoring 20 points off turnovers. Gwynedd-Mercy had too large of a lead, and the Knights ended their season with a loss to the top-ranked Griffins, 88-51.
