Reading, PA-The Neumann Knights fell to the Alvernia College Crusaders 88-57. Neumann's Nellie Mixon, Kirsten Patton, and Ashley Leonard led the way for the Knights scoring 42 of their 57 points, but Neumann couldn't overcome a 47-19 halftime deficit in Pennsylvania Athletic Conference women's basketball action Monday night.

 

Nellie Mixon scored 20 points for her team while Patton and Leonard added 12 and 10 respectively.  The loss drops the Knights to 9-12, and 7-5 in the PAC while Alvernia moves to 11-11, and 9-5 PAC.

 

Neumann will return to action on Wednesday, February 8 when they will host Rosemont College at 7:00 p.m.
