The Knights came out strong, scoring eight unanswered goals in the first half led by Michelle Coderre, who put the first 2 in for Neumann. Working the ball down the field right off the draws, Neumann was able to score 14 first half points. Arcadia's Erin Cunningham scored for the Scarlet Knights, putting them on the scoreboard for the first time followed by Shannon Bustin who gave them their 2nd goal of the game. It was a Neumann game; the Knights were up 14-2 at the half over the Scarlet Knights.
Ball control and execution of plays was the name of the game for Neumann in the 2nd half. The Knights were able to keep Arcadia from scoring at all and managed to score 6 more goals against them. Despite a good effort by the Scarlet Knights, Neumann walked away with the win and a final score of 20-2.
