Wilkes Barre, Pa. - The Neumann Knights men's soccer team was shutout by King's College 3-0, Monday afternoon after shutting out the Monarch's in 55 minutes of play. King's scored the eventual game-winner in the 56th minute of the match and added a pair of insurance goals leading to the 3-0 win.
Despite out shooting the Monarch's, 15-11, Neumann could not hit their target. Knights' goalie Josh Williams kept Neumann in the game with 6 saves, while Steve Monastra had three shots on net for the Knights.
Neumann returns to action on Friday in Reading, Pennsylvania when they will be hosted by PAC rival Alvernia College beginning at 1:00 p.m.
