On Thursday January, 11 at 6:00 the Knights (10-3, 4-0) hosted Cedar Crest College (0-7, 0-5) in a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference game in the Bruder Gymnasium in Aston, Pa.
The first two minutes were rough for the Knights, until a foul on Kim Hinkle sparked the offense to their first points of the game which led to a 22 - 7 scoring drive that lasted until 11:48. The Knight's defense started to pick it up and get in a rhythm on both sides of the ball.

With ten minutes left in the half the Knights started to take control of the game by pushing the ball up court, making key baskets and causing turnovers to maintain their lead.
In the first half Brittany Whetts led the Knights on offense with ten total points and Kim Hinkle (4 steals) and Ashley Pearsall (3 steals, 1 blocked shot, 5 rebounds) led the defense giving Neumann a 39 - 20 halftime lead.
In the beginning of the second half Neumann started off slow scoring only eight points in the first five minutes; however, their defense led by Hinkle continued giving the Knights the upper hand.
Kylynn McNichol made two key 3-pointers six minutes in the second half to help Neumann's offense maintain the lead. Mary Beth Szczesny and Jen Greenamoyer made two 3-pointers with 4 minutes left to give the Knights a more than comfortable lead.
Cedar Crest's Kelly Oaks led the Falcons with 15 points and 8 rebounds.
Brittany Whetts led the Knights offense with 12 points, and had the help of Ashley Pearsall with 6 assists.
