Neumann College could not find a break in the first half of play.  Eastern came out firing from the tip-off en route to an early 11-0 run. There was no looking back from there as Eastern shot 63 percent from three point range and 53 percent from the field to go up 45-17 with five minutes left in the first half.

Fritz late in the first half which led to an 11-2 run.  At halftime the Knights found themselves down 19 trailing 47-28.  Eastern, at the half, had three scorers in double digits, Lenny DiMaria (12), Mike Johnson (11) and Tyrone Coleman (10).  The Knights were led at half by Mike Hitchens with 11.

Although Neumann went on an 11-point run at the end of the first half, they were never able to recover from being down early in the game.  The second half played out very similar to the first half, once more Eastern continued their hot shooting from the arc and the Knights never got into a grove.

The Knights are back in action on the road on Saturday February 3rd, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. against Alvernia College in a Pennsylvania Athletic Conference match-up.
