Dallas, Pa. - The Neumann College woman's basketball team fell short against College of Misericordia 70-66.
The Knights could never find their rhythm falling down at the half by nine points. The score at halftime was 37-28. The Knights in the second half looked like a whole different team however, it was not enough to overtake the lead. Neumann outscored the Cougars in the second half 38-33 but fell in the end 70-66.
Neumann was led by Dominique Thompson, who had 20 points in the losing effort, and Brittany Whetts who scored 16 points for the Knights.
Neumann College woman's basketball is back in action on Monday, February 12th, 2007 at home against Cabrini College. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
