Neumann was lead by DJ Fritz with 26 points and 6 assists while Derahn Patrick added 21 points and 4 rebounds.
"This was a great team win, each player stepped up at different points of the game, when Misericordia came back into the game we played hard, played smart, and played with class. We executed the game plan with great success," stated Head Coach Mike Gallagher in a post game interview.
The Knights jumped out to a quick 13-0 lead in the first half to cause a quick timeout by Misericordia. After the time out Misericordia settled down and started to get back into the game. A Vinny Baumunk three pointer with 3:37 left in the half tied the game for the first time at 21.

The Cougars answered back and took a 4 point lead going into the last minute of play. Then, DJ Fritz took over and provided the Knights with six straight points to tie the game with 00:04 left to play, sending the game into overtime.
