DREXEL HILL, Pa. – The Neumann College women's soccer team lost to Gwynedd-Mercy College, 3-0, Thursday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

The Griffins netted the first goal of the game with 7:46 left in the first half. Gwen Conte then scored twice in the second half to seal the win for Gwynedd.

Vicky Segal made 11 saves in net for the Knights. The Griffins out shot the Knights 26-6.

Neumann is now 4-14-1 overall and 2-7 in the CSAC. Gwynedd-Mercy is 10-9 and 8-2 in conference action.

Neumann will host Cabrini on Saturday in a make-up from earlier this week. The game will begin at 3 p.m. at Msgr. Bonner High School and will conclude 2008 season play for the Knights.
