Aston, PA-The Neumann Knights defeated the Marywood Pacers 78 to 46 on Senior Day at Bruder Gymnasium.  The Knights and Pacers played a close first half but it was all Knights in the second as they won by 32.  The win puts the Knights at 7-8 in Conference and 9-14 overall.

Before the game the Knights honored three seniors; DJ Fritz, James Swiggett and 1,000 point club member Derahn Patrick.

Senior Derahn Patrick wasted no time showing why is in the 1,000 club by scoring 15 of his 20 in the first half to help the Knights take a 31-23 lead at halftime.  The Knights led by as much as 11 but Marywood would not go away keeping it within 10 most of the first half.

That story line would change as the Knights came out in the second half and controlled the tempo of the game.  They went up by as much as 32 and could not be contained on the offensive side of the ball.  The Knights hit 8 three pointers in the half shooting 42.1 % behind the three point line.

Neumann was led by Derahn Patrick who had 20 points and 5 rebounds and DJ Fritz who added 10 points.  James Swigget led the team in rebounds with seven.

The Knights will be back in action at Centenary College on Tuesday to take on PAC opponent Centenary College at 8:00 pm.
