WAYNE, PA-Neumann College scored four goals in the final two periods of play to try and chip away at an early start by Eastern University but they would not get past the Eagles who won the Saturday match 16-7.
The Eagles got off to a quick 3-0 start before the Knights would answer back with an unassisted goal from Kyle Gardner. Eastern quickly put together a second three goal scoring drive to close out the first period with a 6-1 lead. Keeper Jake Boulay turned away 5 attempts on the period as the Knights were outshot 21-4.

Looking to recover some lost ground, both Mailloux and Kyle Gardner found the net on two more occasions in the second half. Despite the convincing scoring push, Eastern put together six more scoring plays of their own, putting the final margin at 16-7. On the loss, Jake Boulay came away with 18 saves.
