READING, Pa. – The Neumann College men's soccer team came from behind and defeated Albright College, 3-1, Saturday afternoon for its first win of the season.
Neumann (1-4-2) and Albright (2-4) played a scoreless first half. Albright opened the scoring less than a minute into the second half when Dan Martin scored off an indirect kick.
Neewilli Saie tied the game at one on a cross from Zach Sell at the 67:27 mark. Four minutes later, Andrew Raimundo gave the Knights a 2-1 lead off an assist from Lee Collins. Chuck Rudolph added an insurance goal at 84:08 from Josh Steer to give Neumann the 3-1 lead.
Zac Radliff made four saves in net for the Knights. Wendell Hannaford started the game for Albright and made eight saves in 76:46. William Howard played the final 13:14.
Neumann outshot Neumann 14-6.
The Knights will host Johns Hopkins at Sun Valley High School on Wednesday. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
