ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team scored the goals in the first 10 minutes of play en route to defeating Keystone College, 5-1, Thursday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) contest.
Ryan Bushbeck scored twice for the Knights. Zach Sell netted a goal and an assist. Bob Mastrillo made two saves in net for the win.
Bushbeck opened the scoring for the Knights just 3:44 into the game off a pass from Nathan Beideman. Sell made the score 2-0 on a penalty shot. Chace Wasco capped the quick 10 minute run with a goal from Alfred Baa-Adomako.
Keystone scored its only goal of the contest at the 17:05 mark.
The Knights would add two more goals in the second half to cap its second conference win. Bushbeck and Joe Larkins tallied those goals.
The Knights improve to 4-4-1 on the season and 2-0 in the conference. Neumann will travel to Centenary College on Saturday for a CSAC contest. The game will begin at 3 p.m.
