ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team celebrated senior day with a 3-0 win over Keystone College in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) contest on a rainy Saturday afternoon.
The Knights scored all three goals in the final 10 minutes of the first half. Senior Gina Juliano opened the scoring, off a pass from Senior Ana Galt in the 35th minute. Allison MacNeil added the second goal three minutes later. Melissa Jarkowsky scored the last goal with 2:57 remaining in the first half.
Neumann defense did not allow a Keystone shot. Goalie Brittany Russ earned the shutout.
The players that were honored before the game were Megan McCoach, Gina Juliano, Ana Galt and Colleen Rush. All played their last home game as a Knight.
Neumann will wrap up its 2009 season on Thursday evening at Gwynedd-Mercy. The game is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
