ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team used three second half goals to defeat Immaculata University, 3-1, Wednesday night in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
Andrew Raimundo notched a goal and an assist for the Knights. Sergio Garcia and Nathan Beideman also scored for Neumann. Andy Attah added an assist. Zac Ratliff made nine saves in net.
Immaculata netted the only goal of the first half in the 30th minute.
In the second half, Garcia tied the game up at 1-all in the 62nd minute, off a header from Raimundo. Beideman then scored the eventual game-winner just two-and-a-half minutes later. Raimundo added an insurance goal with 8:14 left on the clock, off an assist from Attah.
Neumann improves to 6-4-1 overall and remains a perfect 4-0 in the conference. The Knights travel to Philadelphia Biblical on Saturday. The CSAC match is slated to start at 4 p.m.
