ASTON, Pa – The Neumann University men's soccer dropped to Richard Stockton College, 4-0, Monday afternoon in non-conference action.
Rafael Duarte scored two goals for the Ospreys. Rich Haggerty notched a goal and an assists. Rich Stone added two assists.
Stockton's first goal was scored with three minutes left in the first half as Duarte headed the ball into the net off a corner kick from Haggerty.
The Ospreys took control of the second half, scoring three more goals for the win. Duarte scored his second goal 63 minutes in. Stockton secured their victory by adding two goals in the last seven minutes. George Hamilton scored 83 minutes in and Rich Haggerty scored at the 85 minute mark. Rich Stone assisted on both goals.
Joe Larkins and Zach Sell both had three shots on goal for the Knights. Zach Ratliff had five saves in net.
Neumann is now 3-4-1 on the season. Stockton is improves to 9-1.
The Knights return back on the field October 1st, when they return to conference play. The game is set to start at 4pm at Sun Valley High School.
