CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team blanked Keystone College, 5-0, Monday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
Nathan Beideman and Joe Larkins each scored twice for the Knights. Joshua McMillon also tallied. Ryan Bushbeck and Michael Frei notched assists. Bob Mastrillo made two saves for his fourth shutout.
Beidemann opened the scoring just 1:33 into the game. McMillon scored his goal on a corner kick in the 26th minute to put Neumann up 2-0. Larkins then scored his two goals in a span of 10 seconds in the 43rd minute to double the Knights lead to 4-0.
Beideman tallied his second goal in the 55th minute for seal the victory and the third straight shutout for Neumann.
Neumann (7-3-1, 3-0 CSAC) will host Centenary College on Wednesday afternoon beginning at 4 p.m. The women's soccer team will also host CSAC for Centenary and will follow the men at 7 p.m.
