ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team defeated Centenary College, 4-0 Wednesday afternoon for its fourth straight shutout and remained undefeated in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play.
Joe Larkins scored a goal and notched an assist for Neumann. Michael Frei, , Paul Konneh and Evan Morgan also scored for the Knights. Zach Sell, Ryan Bushbeck and Joshua McMillion dished out assists. Bob Mastrillo made two saves in net.
Frei opened the scoring in the 19th minute of the contest off an assist from Sell. Larkins made it s 2-0 Knights lead from Bushbeck. Neumann held the 2-0 lead at halftime.
Konneh scored in the 50th minute, from McMillion, and Morgan capped the goals, from Larkins, in the 60th minute.
Neumann (8-3-1, 4-0 CSAC) will travel to Baptist Bible on Saturday afternoon for a conference match-up. The game is part of a doubleheader with the women's team. Women tip-off at 1 p.m. followed by the men at 3 p.m.
