ASTON, Pa. - The Neumann University dropped a 3-2 decision to Gwynedd-Mercy College Tuesday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match-up.
Olivia Pryzbylkowski and Alanna Daniel scored for Neumann. Alexis Tiernan had two assists. Brittany Russ made nine saves.
Pryzbylkowski opened the scoring just 1:16 into the game. The Griffins knotted the game at one in the 34th minute and that's how the teams went into overtime.
Gwynedd-Mercy took a 2-1 lead in the 68th minute. The Knights answered as Daniel scored in the 76th minute. The Griffins scored the game-winner with under two minutes left in regulation.
Neumann (6-7-1, 5-4 CSAC) travels to Marywood on Saturday afternoon for a CSAC contest beginning at 3:30 p.m.
