READING, Pa. – The Neumann University women's tennis team defeated Penn State-Berks, 5-4, Saturday afternoon in non-conference action.

The duo of Jasper Thomson and Michelle Steward won the Knights point in doubles action, 9-7.

Singles 1-4 picked up wins to give the Knights the 5-4 victory.  Thomson defeated her opponent 6-0, 6-0, at first singles.  Steward won second singles, 6-2, 7-6 (7-4). Gabrielle Porcelli took third singles, 6-2, 6-2. Rounding out the wins for the Knights was Nicole Alexopoulos at fourth singles 7-6 (7-4),

Neumann (3-4) will host the College of Notre Dame on Tuesday afternoon in conference action beginning at 4 p.m.
