ASTON, Pa. – Alfred Baa-Adomako scored two goals as the Neumann University men's soccer team shutout Gwynedd-Mercy College 3-0 Friday evening in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.
Baa-Adomako scored his first goal in the 14th minute for an early Knight's lead off an assist from Sergio Garcia. The senior scored again in the 36th minute, off a pass from Joseph Avvento, to put Neumann up 2-0 heading into halftime.
Nathan Beideman netted a goal in the 84th minute, off a pass from Evan Morgan, to seal the conference win for the Knights.
Bob Mastrillo made three saves in net for his third shutout of the season.
Neumann (6-3-1, 2-0 CSAC) will face Keystone College on Monday in a make-up game from earlier this week. The game will be played on the campus of Baptist Bible College beginning at 1 p.m.
