LAFAYETTE HILL, Pa. – The Neumann University golf team placed first out of three teams Saturday afternoon against Philadelphia University and the University of the Sciences.
The Knights shot a 318 as a team at the ACE Club. USP finished shooting a 341 and Philadelphia placed third just one shot behind with a 342.
Thomas Moran tied for first, shooting a 75 on the afternoon. Chris Donohue placed third with a 78. Keith Mastronardo shot an 80 on the afternoon and Rich Brandel rounded out the Knights with an 85.
The Knights will face Swarthmore, Cabrini, Ursinus and Rutgers-Camden on Monday at the Rolling Green Golf Club. Tee-off time is slated for 1 p.m.
