AVONDALE, Pa. – The Neumann University men's golf team placed third out of 11 teams at the Immaculata Invitational Thursday afternoon.
Cabrini placed first with a team score of 306. Swarthmore came in second, scoring a 316. Neumann finished third with a 323. Immaculata placed fourth (329) and Keystone fifth (332).
Chris Donohue paced the Knights, shooting a 76 on the par 70, 6,319 yard course to finished fifth overall. Shane Howey tied for eighth place with a score of 79. Tom Moran finished with an 83 on the afternoon to tie for 17th. Keith Mastonardo shot an 85 (t-22nd) and Rich Brandel rounded out the five Knights with a 90 (t-35th).
Two Knights competed independently. Matt Waddington shot an 82 (t-15th) and Jeremy Gates finished with a 94 (41st).
Neumann will compete at the Widener 2010 Spring Invitational on Monday beginning at 12 p.m.
