POMONA, N.J. – The Neumann University men's soccer team fell to Richard Stockton College, 2-1 in double overtime, Monday evening.
Stockton scored the winning goal with just 21 seconds remaining in the second overtime.
Nathan Beidemann scored for the Knights, off an assist from Zach Sell. Bob Mastrillo made nine saves in net.
The Ospreys struck first, scoring just 5:21 into the game. Beidemann scored to tie the game at one in the 23rd minute. The teams would play without another goal until the second overtime.
Neumann (4-3-1) will travel to Immaculata on Saturday to begin conference play. The game is slated to begin at 3 p.m.
