ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University women's soccer team dropped a close 1-0 game to Cabrini College in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action Wednesday evening.
Brittany Russ made six saves in net for the Knights.
Cabrini scored the only goal of the game in the 19th minute on a corner kick.
Neumann kept the pressure on throughout the game and had a strong push towards the end of regulation, but the Knights could not get past Cabrini goalie Maddy Edwards.
Neumann (2-3-1, 1-2 CSAC) will host Cedar Crest on Saturday afternoon in CSAC action beginning at 3 p.m.
