ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Neumann University women's soccer team won 6-0 against Colonial States Athletic Conference Cedar Crest College Wednesday afternoon.

This win would see Neumann go 6-1 in conference play as well as see five different players score in the game. It was on the Knights wish list that they executed on opportunities created and they would find two first half goals by Ashley Hawkins in the 33^rd minute from an assist from Tonia Russo. Megan Malstrom would score in the 43^rd minute off a pass from Hawkins to put the Knights up 2-0 at halftime.

The Knights would explode with four second half goals from Megan Malstrom in the 56^th minute.  Rosie Kays would score in the 63^rd minute and Meghan Garsey in the 79^th minute. Tonia Russo would finish out the scoring in the 80^th minute on an assist from Emily Sanders.

Briana King and Brittany Russ would share the shutout, as King made three saves and Russ made two saves on the day. The Knights took the advantage on shots 13 to the Falcons 5 shots.

With the win, Neumann improves to 9-4 overall. The nine wins sets a program record. Neumann had eight wins in 2001 and 2008. The Knights will host Keystone College on Saturday October 15 at 12:30 p.m.
