AVONDALE, Pa. - The Neumann golf team completed their first day of the Immaculata University 2011 Fall Golf Invitational.

On a beautiful Sunday, the Knights golf team would end the day with a team 339 strokes, finishing 10^th/13.

Inniscrone Golf Club sported a par 70 course and 6401 total yards. As the Knights continue to improve their scores, it would be Tyler Hiriak and Matt Redfield pacing the Knights shooting an 82 finishing in a tie for 34^th place. Chris Donohue was three strokes off Hiriak and Redfield scoring an 85 finishing in 44^th place. Bruce Bandos stayed competitive shooting a 90 for 54^th place. Brendan Thompson would round out the score shooting a 101 for a 64^th place finish.

The Knights golf team will resume play for day two at 9 a.m. tomorrow October 24.
