ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's soccer team won its second straight Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship on Saturday afternoon with a 2-1 win over Marywood University.
Andrew Leissing scored both goals for the Knights. Brandon Green fed the ball to Leissing both times.
Leissing opened the scoring in the 19th minute and then found the back of the net again in the 26th minute.
Marywood would score its only goal in the 49th minute on a penalty shot.
Bob Mastrillo made six saves in net en route to the Championship.
Leissing was also named the Championship MVP.
Neumann improves to 13-4 on the season and will wait for the NCAA selection show to see where it will go for the first round next week.
