Men's Soccer will travel to Salisbury for NCAA First Round

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Neumann University men's soccer team will face Salisbury University in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, announced on Monday. Game time is slated for 1:00 PM on Thursday afternoon.

Neumann received the AQ from the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) after it defeated Marywood University 2-1 in the Championship Game.

The Knights are 13-4 overall this season and will make their second consecutive trip to the NCAAs.

Neumann is led by CSAC Co-Player of the Year Andrew Leissing and Rookie of the Year Michael Atallian.

Leissing has 16 goals this season to lead the Knights. Dan Chashewsky leads the team in assists with eight. Bob Mastrillo is 11-3 overall in the net with five shutouts and a goals-against-average of 0.90.

The winner will travel to the 2008, 2009 and 2010 National Champion Messiah College this weekend for second round action. Game will be on Sunday at 6:00 PM.
