CENTERVILLE, Mass. – The Neumann University women's soccer team's outstanding season will continue as the Knights received a bid to the ECAC South Region Tournament, announced on Monday.
Neumann was named the No. 7 seed and will travel to No. 2 seeded Stevenson University on Wednesday. Game time is slated for 6 p.m.
The Knights advanced to the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship game where they fell to Cabrini College 1-0.
Neumann is 12-6-1 this season as it set a programs record for wins. The Knights also made the conference tournament for the second straight time. Head Coach Jeremy Brodovsky was named the CSAC Coach of the Year while freshman Ashley Hawkins received the Rookie of the Year honor.
The winner of the Neumann / Stevenson game will face the winner of the Albright / Swarthmore final. The game would be on Saturday at the highest remaining seed.
