ASTON, Pa. – The Neumann University men's tennis team opened its 2011 season with a 9-0 loss to Eastern University on Tuesday afternoon.

Chris Brown put up a fight at first singles. He won the first set 7-6 (8-6), but then dropped the second set 7-5 and the super tie breaker 10-3.

Neumann (0-1) will travel to Alvernia on Thursday afternoon for a non-conference match-up.
