GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Neumann University men' lacrosse team dropped a 20-8 decision to Messiah College on Wednesday afternoon.

Mike Pantelone, Justin Mailloux and Nick Ferraro each netted two goals for the Knights.

Andrew Neubauer started the game in net and made five saves. Ryan Davis played the second half and made three saves.

Messiah scored the first four goals of the game before Mailloux netted Neumann's first goal. The Falcons held a 7-2 lead after the first quarter and

The Knights notched the final two goals of the first half for a 12-5 game at halftime.

Neumann did not score a goal in the third quarter. Mailloux notched his second goal of the game with 1:57 left in the game for the 20-8 final.

The Knights are now 1-3 on the season and will travel to La Roche College on Saturday. The face-off is slated for 2 p.m.
